How to Sell for Your Competitors
I didn’t know what category to put this one under, so I put it in four different ones.
Jim Logan tells a story that I’ve seen too many times in real life. When you don’t have enough people buying your product, attending your function, or supporting your cause, what do you do? Scold, then beg. Yeah. That’ll work, right?
No. Instead, be as classy as you can. Everyone who does support you, thank them. Thank them even if they support you by disagreeing with you and telling everyone how much they hate you. Then seek to understand why they like what you do, or why they hate it… Or why they don’t care. In any case, treat others with respect, and they’ll treat you that way back. Support others, and they’ll support you. Be classy, and make a difference.
Or whine, and fade into obscurity. Your choice.
