<description>Hi, Rocky. I still have to do it successfully at least once. How I've started: I wrote a business plan that shows how I can start my business and make it work. Part of this is a marketing plan, and part of that is a description of a sales funnel. A lot of learning went into getting me this far, and I'm still learning. More to come.

<description>Thanks for the wonderful article on consulting. It's very interesting as I am or will soon be in the process of starting my own health/saftey consulting business. I am a Registered Nurse, with many years of varied experience. My focus will be the oil and gas industry of North America. If you have any tips that might be of assistance, that would be very much appreciated. I know what I want to do, what kind of companied I want to focus on, but am unsure how and where to start. Anyway, thanks for the article.
