She’s a headstrong businesswoman…
She’s a headstrong, driven, single-minded businesswoman, a successful independent professional at only 29 years old. But she still feels empty. He’s a fun-loving real-estate agent who made a mint in the boom market, now fast running out of money. And their friends set them up on a blind date, unaware that many years ago, they were once married to each other.
Now, both are taken aback by their feelings for each other at a romantic, seaside cottage on Ardor Point, and by the impact this will have on the rest of their lives. What surprises does this long-languishing relationship have in store?
A heart-wrenching love story, of relationships, lost and found love, and fighting through hard times, with gritty, real-life character complexities, and containing a life-expanding message designed to inspire and uplift.
Status: Way behind schedule, but approaching the second plot point, and to about 27,000 words (a little over 100 pages in trade-paperback form). On target to be a short novel.
I’ll probably call the book From the Ashes of Courage, because that title has performed well in marketing pre-tests.
